This week Year 1 had a visit from the Fire Brigade. They came along in their fire engine so that the children could see inside it.
The children in 1LG said:
Fire fighters cut people out of cars.
We sat in the fire engine.
The helmet was very heavy.
Every week we go to our school library.
We have the chance to read and change our books.
The children in class 1LG think that:
Our library is cool.
We love choosing book.
This week in English 1LG have been following instructions when playing ‘Simon says!’
We are learning about instructions. We have to use ‘bossy’ words and the instructions have to been short and clear.

Today in music we were Keeping the pulse to Bob Marley using crocodile claps.
Today in music we also sang and played to Aardvarks see the Aardvarks song. Some of us played the drums and xylophones.
This week 1LG have been learning o'clock and half past.
Over the Easter Holiday 1LG designed their own story books. We showed them in assembly this week and here is a small selection for you to see.. Well done to all of you. They were fantastic !
