Our school catering s is delivered in house by our cooks Mrs May and Mrs Hughes. The cooks and their  team prepare and cook  the hot school meals, salads,  pasta pots, sandwiches and desserts  freshly each day. They deliver a very high  standard  of service to our children and have helped our school achieve various accolades in recognition of their good work.   The Healthy Schools Award 5 Star Outstanding rating from the City Environmental Health Team ( Food Standard Authority) also a successful School Lunches Audit by B Lee from the Local Authority.

We offer a wide variety of food each day for children to choose from if you child does not want a hot school meal we can provide them with a packed lunch.   Below we have a 3 week cycle  menu  of the meals available(Revised April 2017)

Pupils in  Reception and  Yr1 or Yr2  (KS1)  are entitled to Universal Free School Meals regardless of your income. This could save you almost £400 a year for each child you have in Reception or KS1.

 For pupils in KS2 a school lunch costs £1.80 per day £9.00 per week . Dinner money should be sent to the school office each Monday in an envelope clearly stating  your child's name and class.

 If you receive Housing Benefit or Council Tax Support you may be entitled to claim free school meals

As a school we would strongly encourage parents to apply for Free School Meals, Although Reception to Years 2 receive Universal Free School Meals, you could be entitled to claim free school meals.  You may ask yourself why you should  bother if you  get UFSM,  but do you know for every child registered for a free school meal the school can claim additional funding to support the children's learning through additional resources , via the Pupil Premium Grant.
