2015 - 2016
Year 4 gathering ideas in their sketchbooks to design their own Coat of Arms for a shield linked to their topic on The Normans.

These methods are being taught all year through, so your child may not be fully confident until the end of this year.

The children enjoyed a Fun Maths Roadshow with Maths team from Liverpool University. The spent time solving Maths puzzles. Parents were invited to join in the fun!
Year 4 2014 - 2015
Year 4 classes went to The Liverpool Museum to learn more about the river Mersey and why it is important to Liverpool. We learnt the meaning of export and import and even got to go out and look at the river Mersey. The best part was when we got to dress up and perform a selection of Beetle songs on the karaoke! The sad part was when we had to leave. But hopefully we can visit it again!!
In Year 4 we looked at Rivers in Spain and learnt lots about them.
We even got to have some delicious paella. Some people from La Tasca came in and showed us how to make it.
It was a great day.
